About Ted

Ted Roop is a voice professional with over 25 years of voiceover experience. Ted can provide a deep, serious delivery or a can capture a fun light read. Radio, TV and Web Commercials, On Hold/IVR, E-Learning and Narration. Ted works out of his home based studio in Ontario, Canada, with the most up today equipment and programs. Ted also provides intros for sports teams all across Canada and the United States. After being involoved in minor hockey since his son was 3, he loved watching their faces as they heard their names during the introductions. As his son once told him, "it sounds like we're in the pro's"!! Ted is happily married with 2 grown children, a cat and a dog. As an empty nester now, he still loves being in the arena for his own men's league games and, when he can, watching his son play college hockey!
